Ombudsman

Although there is no provision in the legislation for appeal against an adjudication made in terms of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 section 2(2) by the Adjudicator, any person affected by the adjudication has the right to seek from the Scottish Public Service Ombudsman a review of the process through which the Adjudicator reached their decision. Information on how to raise a complaint with the Ombudsman may be found at www.spso.org.uk by clicking the link to 'How to Complain' on their home page.
